As for "investigatinng" Civil War battlefields and or near-by towns, having gain a bunch" of first had experience of dealing with "things" that weren't really  supposed to be there, for near-by, try Bentonville Battlefield, no, it's not that impressive, but I found it interesting, also Fort Fisher, Wilmington and the ghost of th lastf fort commander, killed when Union troops captured the fort, then try Fredricksburg, VA, Dec.15-18, or about anytime. Just a plain haunted town and battlefield. Next Antietam, MD, one of , if not, the bloodiest 1 day battle, and esp. "Bloody Lane". If one feels odd there , you're nnot alone. gettysburg, PA, if you go, try anytmie but July 1,2, 3, actual days of abttle in 1863 and it seems everybody from the planet shows up. The Spring and or Fall is much more conducive to roaming about, less hot, less tourist, not as expennnsive, well, not that less but less than if you went in the summer. Dennis Holland,Ph.D.

Good Morning Mr Holland we are a paranormal Team located in Clinton, NC and one of our members also does Civil War reinactmints.  His name is James Britt from Clinton, NC.  We are planning to take a trip to Gettysburg this year unless you know some place better for us to investigate Civil War areas.  Thanks Mark (NWPRI)

Well FINALLY, nice to come across a 'paranormal" group from my home state also. I have a history of doing reenactments at various Civil War locations, and documenting what, sometimes, I might literally run into something that had no business being over here. 4 most haunted battlefields and near-by towns,Antietam, Sharpsburg,MD, Fredricksburg,VA, Gettysburg, PA, Bentonville, NC. Just my opinion.
