Here's a picture that's worth a thousand words... Except most people probably won't find the words to explain what's
going on with the dog in this picture.

Six years have passed since the death of Miguel Guzman, who lived in central Argentina, and to this day, Miguel's
dog continues to run away from home, just to be found sitting at the grave of his dead owner.

The man's widow, Veronica Guzman, said the first time the German Shepard dog ran away, she was shocked when
someone called to let her know they found the dog in the cemetery, but she couldn't believe her eyes when she went
to pick up the dog, and seen that he was sitting at the grave of her deceased husband, Miguel Guzman.

The cemetery director, Hector Baccega, says he and his staff have begun feeding and taking care of the dog, whose
name is Capitan. "He turned up here one day, all on his own, and started wandering all around the cemetery until he
eventually found the grave site of his master," Hector Baccega said.

"During the day the dog sometimes walks around the cemetery, but he always rushes back to the grave.. and every
day.. at six o'clock sharp, the dog will lay down on top of the grave, and stays there all night." Hector Baccega said.

The Guzman family hasn't abandoned Capitan... They have tried to bring their dog home, several times... but he just
continues running away, right back to the cemetery. Damian Guzman.. son of the late Miguel Guzman.. said "I think
that Captain will be there until he dies too, and I think he's looking after my dad... just waiting to be with him again."

This is amazing and sad. I've heard of stories like this one. A preacher once told a young boy whom asked did his dog go to heaven, that heaven is perfect and it wouldn't be perfect of our pets weren't there with us.

Dogs are very loyal and sometimes form a bond with their owners that even death cannot break.

I have heard of this happening over the years - definitely Man's Best Friend. Most of the time, the cemetery doesn't mind having the dogs there - they feel the dog(s) may also keep out troublesome people, at night. A similar thing happened here about 15yrs ago, the live-in groundskeeper took care of the canine until it's final day - where he was placed with his true mate and master.

That just proves a dogs devotion of his owner! But also in this case, Captain has a soul that is connected with his owner!!  Their Souls are connected !!

Dogs are very smart, but this dog is extraordinary and very loyal.

Doesn't surprise me a bit.  That's a German Shepherd for you...  My heart goes out to the poor guy, I think they are right in letting him live in the cemetary if that's what he wants to do.

its very amazing about the dog and the owner. You see animal has sense and feelings.

Gold Bless the dog with his owner now owner s wife will know where to find him than worries he lost.

This story is almost same as the movie call Hachi...Hachi never leave aside at the train station wait for the owner come home till his death.

This isn't a weird occurrence if you consider that dogs can sense the spirit or soul of a human dead or alive. This man had a pure love for his dog and has a soul mate bond with him. This will always transcend death. Humans have this ability as well but not as open to using it out of fear of the unknown. I will post a discussion about this in a few minuets.

This is a wonderful display of loyalty and I wish Capitan all the best. I wish the Guzman family piece and good fortune for the rest of there days.

This is the 3rd story I have heard about dog and it,s loyalty to it,s owner. The first one was in Scotland and the second one was of a dog called Hachi who went to meet his owner off the train ,His owner had a fatal heart attack but every day the dog went back to meet his master off the train people fed Hachi and there the dog waited until he died.A film was made of Harchi and is very heart wrenching. A man,s best friend is his dog a true loyal friend xx
