Hi Wes...I wasnt able to comment on ur discussion as to what new investigators need to know..as Im not a paranormal investigator. I found this article helpful if u would like to read it. Pardon the term ghost hunter as some get offended by it..however until there is any kind of credentialing in the field of the paranormal...the mixing of terms continues without any intenttional disrespect.
